Caroline Hesse is an abstract painter based in Atlanta.

Her work is inspired by the visual interests of everyday life including florals, quiet corners of her home, and sentimental heirlooms. She enjoys the challenge of translating familiar forms into layered compositions that celebrate color and texture. The colors and florals she collects in life often sneak their way into her work.

 

Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Olive. They can all be found in their yard, tending to the garden, and finding inspiration for her next abstract piece in the colors and textures around them.
