Caroline Hesse is an abstract painter based in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Georgia, she studied Fine Arts at the University of North Georgia.

 

Her work is inspired by the visual interest of everyday life including florals, quiet corners of the outdoors, and household objects. She is fascinated with translating familiar forms into layered compositions that celebrate color, texture, and shape.

 

She uses a combination of materials to explore how beauty can be found in the ordinary through bold palettes and expressive surfaces.

 

Caroline enjoys spending time in her yard, tending to her plants, and being with her dog, Olive. The colors and patterns she observes in life often find their way into her work.
